Method
In saucepan of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add shallot and garlic; cook until starting to brown, 1 to 2 minutes. Deglaze skillet with white wine, stirring constantly until liquid has almost completely evaporated, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in chicken broth, cream, lemon zest and juice and smoked salmon; season with salt and pepper. Bring to boil; cook, stirring occasionally, until sauce has slightly reduced, 2 to 3 minutes.
Drain pasta and add to sauce, stirring to coat. Sprinkle with chopped dill, and lemon peel, if using.
