Cut chicken crosswise into thin strips; cut crosswise again into 1/4-inch (5 mm) long pieces. Set aside.In large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat; cook garlic and ginger, stirring, until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in chicken, mushrooms, red pepper, corn, half of the green onions and the pepper. Cook, stirring, until chicken is no longer pink inside, about 7 minutes.
Add broth and 1 cup water; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stirring soup constantly, pour in eggs in thin, steady stream; simmer until eggs are set and form ribbons, about 3 minutes. Stir in sesame oil; garnish with remaining green onions.
