How to brown ground beef
Browning beef adds a tremendous amount of flavour and depth to any dish. Start by heating a bit of oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; cook beef, breaking up with spoon, until no longer pink.

In large nonstick skillet, heat 2 tsp olive oil over medium-high heat; sauté 3 cloves garlic, chopped, and 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary for 30 seconds. Add 450 g lean ground beef; cook, breaking up with spoon, until no longer pink, about 3 minutes. Stir in 1/3 cup ketchup, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp Dijon mustard and 1/2 tsp pepper; cook, stirring, until slightly thickened, about 1 minute. Divide beef mixture among bottom halves of 8 slider buns; top with 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese and 2 cups each lightly packed baby arugula and baby spinach. Sandwich with top halves of buns.
Makes 8 servings.
