Method
In shaker, using pestle, muddle cranberries. Add vermouth, Pomegranate Syrup, lime juice and ice cubes. Close shaker and shake, 5 to 8 seconds. Place cocktail strainer over shaker and pour into collins or highball glass. Add beer to fill glass. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and lime slice.
Pomegranate Syrup In small saucepan, combine 1 cup each granulated sugar and pomegranate juice. Bring to boil, stirring often, until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. (Make-ahead: Can be stored in airtight container and refrigerated for up to 1 month.)
