Method
In large bowl, whisk together eggs, butter, chocolate, vanilla and almond extract. In separate bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, ground almonds and salt; sift in cocoa powder. Whisk into egg mixture just until combined.
Spoon heaping 1 tbsp into each mould of 2 greased 12-count madeleine pans. Bake in 350°F (180?C) oven until batter fills moulds and looks dry, 10 to 12 minutes. Loosen from pan with tip of knife; invert onto racks. Let cool completely.
Sugar Glaze: In small bowl, whisk sugar with boiling water until dissolved; brush over madeleines. Let stand until dry.
