I'm here to tell you that 50 of Toronto's top chefs are gathering together on Sunday, June 8th to show off their culinary prowess at the Toronto Taste event in support of Second Harvest, a non-profit organization collecting and delivering unused fresh food from the Toronto's restaurants and small grocery stores to shelters across the city. Wineries, micro-breweries and cocktail vendors also represent a large portion of the event's purveyors. Yay! Why is this important? YOU could win two tickets - valued at $225 each!! Get your salivatory (and creative) juices flowing and tell us your favourite Toronto Taste. Is it pork dumplings in Chinatown? Vegan fare in the Annex? Flaming cheese on the Danforth?
