What’s more Canadian than a poutine wedding cake?

You can’t get much more Canadian than this. A Quebec restaurant served up a three tiered poutine wedding ‘cake’ this weekend for a very special bachelorette party. According to the Journal de Montreal, the cheesy creation was cooked up by staff at the Patate Mallette in Beauharnois, Que., after they received a 12 person order for a bachelorette party. The cooks took the idea to a whole new level, creating a mouthwatering mountain of poutine, which took two days to plan. The final dish contained 10 kg of fries, 2.5 kg of cheese and a little more than a liter of gravy. The restaurant posted photos on their Facebook page and video on Twitter, showing the final touches of gravy being added and a very happy bride-to-be. [HTML1] [HTML2] Patate Mallette’s poutine is rated the 2nd best in Quebec, according to poutinewar.com. So if you’re considering a poutine cake yourself, this is one of the best places to get it.
