Things we love: Tiny (purse-friendly) food fixes
If you look in my purse, you're likely to find
something tiny that I can use to spruce up my food when I'm on the run. People often ask me where I find these super cute ingredients, and to be honest, I always keep my eyes peeled when I'm out and about. Little gems like these are often found near the cash since they are the ultimate impulse item for anyone who loves food. Specialty food stores are some of the best places to go treasure hunting - especially when you're travelling - so get out there and look around!
Tabasco sells ultra tiny bottles ($0.75 US each) on their
website and you can even customize them for a special occasion. I found this adorable tin of
Maldon salt ($2 US each) on a recent trip to San Francisco at
Sur la Table in San Francisco, but if you look closely, you might be able to find them in various fine food shops across Canada.
Do you keep any emergency food in your purse or pocket?
