Cookie of the day: Cinnamon Roll Cookies
Lovers of cinnamon rolls, look no further. We've taken the flavour of your favourite treat and
crammed it into a cute-as-a-button, festive cookie!
We have included a refrigerator "make-ahead" tip for the dough in our recipe, but you could easily freeze the dough ahead for up to several weeks.
Tip: When freezing a cookie dough, make sure you wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and then overwrap by sealing it in a freezer-weight resealable bag. I seal the bag almost all of the way, press out the air and then finish zipping it up in order to keep as much air out as possible. That will prevent freezer burn from creeping in. If you're making the pre-baked cookies ahead of time and plan on keeping them at room temperature, don't glaze them until the day you plan on serving them. The glaze has cream cheese in it, making the cookies more perishable.
