31 Seasonal Recipes To Cook In March
It's time to get ready for spring! Welcome bright and colourful fruits and veggies into your diet with seasonal recipes to cook for breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner and dessert.
March means we can stop peeling butternut squash and finally gravitate towards some new produce that screams, "Spring is on the way!"
You'll start to notice asparagus and spinach at your local grocery store, as well as an abundance of other greens. Carrots are also making a comeback—and just in time, Easter's at the end of the month.
Other colourful produce to watch includes Brussels sprouts, sweet potato, peas, broccoli and citrus.
We can't end our list without mentioning maple. Although not on the produce shelves, maple season is in full swing, and we love supporting our sweet Canadian producers. (And making our Best Butter Tarts.)
Now that you know what to stock up on, here's how to put it all to good use. Try these bright breakfasts, fresh lunches, and lighter dinners. And don't forget about our iconic carrot cake.
