Preheat barbecue to medium heat (about 350°F); grease grill.
In bowl, combine sesame oil, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, ginger and hot pepper flakes. Brush eggplant slices with marinade; reserve remaining marinade.
Place eggplant slices on grill. Close lid and cook, turning halfway through grilling time, until eggplant is tender and golden brown, 8 to 12 minutes. Pour remaining marinade over eggplant slices and sprinkle with green onion and sesame seeds.
