Practical AND stylish – yes please! The cross-body bag is having a moment right now. We saw the popularization of the satchel last spring, and the hands-free style is sticking around – but this time it's a little heftier. Which is a bonus because it lends itself to carting around laptops, books and iPads. So it's ideal for commuter types. These are some of my favourite styles – all are available in stores and are under $200. I'm a total convert to this style. Ever since last February I've gone back and forth between my vintage Dooney and Bourke, my  Marc by Marc Jacobs mini cross-body bag and my pumpkin orange 15" Cambridge Satchel. I just feel a little more polished and put together when I'm wearing this style. I'm seriously dreading the day the cross-body bag loses its luster with the fashionable crowd.
