Designer spotlight: Trout Rainwear
Braving the elements while still looking stylish is not the easiest thing to pull off. Thank goodness for water deflecting brands like
Hunter and
Burberry for making days destined for downpours a whole lot chicer. Although let’s be real, most of Canadians are still seeing flurries over rain—face palm... When spring drops inevitably come consider adding a little bit of Canadian luxury to your wet weather attire with
Trout Rainwear.
Sevan Cape[/caption] I'm gushing over this
Sevan Cape, ($545) found in Trout’s spring offerings. So much so that it actually has me wishing for those dark clouds to settle in overhead. The two-tone cape comes in three colours: yellow, navy and lime green and its made from a waterproof double-face cotton blend sourced from Italy, a trademark of the line. Some other notable features are the double-breasted snap front closures, hood, welt pockets and contrasting interior and seam tape—another signature of the brand.
