Man proposes to girlfriend at Tim Hortons drive-thru window
Today, we're turning things over to our intern, Erica Rae Chong: Last Thursday, Toronto resident Jared Gaber
proposed to his girlfriend Stephanie Pasternak in what was possibly the most Canadian wedding proposal ever — through a North York Tim Hortons drive-thru window, in a scene sweeter than a strawberry vanilla doughnut. His friend and filmmaker, Jesse Cappe, caught the elaborate proposal on camera. “This very location is the stop before my girlfriend gets to work every day. She orders a tea, sometimes a hashbrown with a lot of ketchup,” explained Garber in the video. “She’s amazing, she’s brilliant, absolutely gorgeous, funny, kind and just anything any man could ever ask for in life.” (Seriously, awwwwwwwww…)
To make sure Pasternak didn't skip her breakfast run, Gaber got a colleague to ask her to pick up a coffee for him on the way to work. Meanwhile he stands in the back end, headset on and visibly anxious as he waits to take Pasternak’s order. She eventually pulls up in her white Toyota and drives to pick up her order at the window, where she is surprised by Gaber. “You’re the first woman I ever fell in love with and the last woman I ever wanted to be in love with. Will you spend the rest of your life with me?” he says. Check out Pasternak’s response here… [HTML1] The video which has over 125,000 views was posted on the Tim Hortons Facebook page and got over 2,400 “Likes”.
