Love and relationship advice from 10 celebrities
As a
relationships editor, it's always interesting to talk to different people -- couples and singles -- and get their perspective on all things involving romance, love and everything in between. While researching for our Sex Survey (
coming soon), I decided to look up love and relationship advice from famous celebrities. This was more for my own inspiration, but 10 quotes really stayed with me. 1. "The best love advice I've ever received is probably, 'I'm not leaving the relationship; I'm just leaving the house.'" - Joe Manganiello 2. "Don’t settle for a relationship that won’t let you be yourself." – Oprah Winfrey 3. "You know it's love when all you want is that person to be happy, even if you’re not part of their happiness." – Julia Roberts 4. “Falling in love and having a relationship are two different things.” – Keanu Reeves 5. "The only creatures that are evolved enough to convey pure love are dogs and infants." - Johnny Depp 6. "Seems to me the basic conflict between men and women, sexually, is that men are like firemen. To men, sex is an emergency, and no matter what we're doing we can be ready in two minutes. Women, on the other hand, are like fire. They're very exciting, but the conditions have to be exactly right for it to occur." - Jerry Seinfeld 7. "There's no substitute for a great love who says, 'No matter what's wrong with you, you're welcome at this table.'" - Tom Hanks 8. "Sexiness is a state of mind – a comfortable state of being. It’s about loving yourself in your most unlovable moments.”- Halle Berry 9. "I think the modern-day woman will tell you that women can be just as predatory as men." - Matt Damon 10. "The greater your capacity to love, the greater your capacity to feel the pain." – Jennifer Aniston
Now it's your turn. What's your best love/relationship advice?
