How to zest a lemon without making a mess
If you've ever used the fine side of a box grater or a rasp to zest a lemon, you know that the zest sprays all over the place and makes quite a mess. This is how I avoid that mess. Rather than grating the zest onto the cutting board,
I hold the zester upside-down and
scrape it along the lemon -- that way, the zest collects neatly on top of the rasp, instead of spraying onto your work surface.
Now that you've zested your lemons, try making these delicious
Lemon Butter Brussels Sprouts!
