Knit a yoga mat bag
Have you made this? Send your picture to feedback AT canadianliving DOT com and we'll post it in our photo gallery!
I came up with the idea for this knitted yoga mat bag while looking at patterns for knit mesh shopping bags. At the same time, I was getting back into yoga and noticing that you can buy yoga mat bags online for outrageous amounts of money!
This lace pattern looks impressive, but it is easy to memorize and knit. The sturdy cotton yarn can be purchased inexpensively at almost any craft store.
