Hi foodies! It’s Canadian Living’s web food editor Colleen filling in for Christine as she gallivants across the country, frolicking in merriment as she discovers food and drink to share with us all. Oh to be a food writer!

But enough of my whining. I’m here to tell you that 50 of Toronto’s top chefs are gathering together on Sunday, June 8th to show off their culinary prowess at the Toronto Taste event in support of Second Harvest, a non-profit organization collecting and delivering unused fresh food from the Toronto’s restaurants and small grocery stores to shelters across the city. Wineries, micro-breweries and cocktail vendors also represent a large portion of the event’s purveyors. Yay!
