If you're looking for a chance to get together with other people who are interested in modern quilting with modern fabrics, this is a great opportunity! Holly writes: "I wanted to let you know that the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild has scheduled its first meeting! We'll be meeting at Spool of Thread Sewing Lounge, here in Vancouver, B.C., from 7-9pm on Thursday, June 17th, 2010. As of today, we have 50 members in the online Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild group and five have signed up for the first meeting.
